Cafeteria
The hospital cafeteria is located on the fourth floor of the hospital and is available to all visitors during these times:
- Breakfast: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
- Lunch: Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Saturdays & Sundays: Breakfast 7:00a.m. – 9:30a.m., Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Vending machines are available 24 hours a day. Complimentary coffee and tea are available during cafeteria hours for patients and visitors.
Parking/Security
Free visitor parking is provided in designated areas of the hospital parking lot. Spaces for handicapped parking also are available. Our security staff is on duty 24 hours a day. After 9 p.m., all doors are locked. Please use the telephone at the front door for entry after hours.
Family Concerns
Kindred Hospital Atlanta encourages the involvement of family and those close to our patients. We offer open visitation for family and friends 24/7 to help encourage and to provide support to our patients. This is part of the "Patient Family Centered Model of Care" that we have adopted at Kindred. Families are welcome to join our weekly patient care conferences, which involves an overview of the patient’s condition, progress and goals.
For those who are from out of town (generally > 40 miles of downtown) there are additional accommodations available through our partnership with the Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House. Please speak with our case management department for more details.
